As the Director of Marketing at Columbia Association, Tim Pinel is responsible for creating and accelerating the company’s marketing strategy and brand recognition throughout the region. He is focused on driving the organization’s vision of enhancing the quality of life of everyone in Columbia by raising awareness of the range of programs, memberships and services offered by CA.
Previously, Tim was the Marketing Director for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, responsible for the promotion of the department’s flagship Maryland Mortgage Program, small business lending through the Neighborhood BusinessWorks program and pooled bond programs through the Local Government Infrastructure Program.
A self-described innovator, Tim brings new insights, perspectives and energy to the marketing department and customer care team that he leads within CA.
He has degrees in both Chemical Engineering and Economics from the University of Queensland. In his spare time, he enjoys family time, home renovations and coaching junior soccer.
