FREE! Fight Back Against Parkinson’s with CA’s Rock Steady Boxing Class Begins Tuesday, March 3
Classes are held at Columbia Gym (6151 Daylong Lane, River Hill Village Center) on Tuesdays at 3:30pm and Fridays at 1pm.
Rock Steady Boxing gives people with Parkinson’s disease hope by working on agility, speed, muscular endurance, accuracy, balance, hand-eye coordination, footwork and overall strength.
No experience is necessary. This is a fun, hands-on program that will help improve quality of life through a non-contact, boxing-based fitness curriculum.
All fitness levels are welcome to join. Open to both CA members and non-members.
Through the generous support of Maryland Association for Parkinson Support (MAPS) and Columbia Association, this class is offered for FREE to anyone diagnosed with a Parkinsonian disorder.
