Show the world what you can do with a blank canvas and register for a Columbia Association (CA) art class. Offered throughout the year and held at Columbia Art Center, there are classes for artists of all ages, including children, teens and adults. Choose from pen and ink, watercolor, pastels, acrylics, and even colored pencils. Just bring your creative energy and remember — even Michelangelo had to start somewhere!

Acrylic Painting

Using various mediums and gels, learn the characteristics and basic techniques of acrylics plus more advanced techniques for creating surfaces and glazes. Beginning/advanced-level students welcome. Supply list will be provided at the time of registration.

Black and White Ink Wash Painting from Observation

Ink wash painting is a water-based medium with a similar technique to watercolor painting. However, when creating an ink wash painting, black ink is used to create a grayscale work of art. Whether you have any prior experience working with ink or are a complete beginner, Geraldine will walk you through the process while you create your very own ink wash painting.

Charcoal Workshop: Smartphone Photos to Drawings

Paint Night at Haven on the Lake

Painting Portraits from Photographs
