The foundation for a strong hockey player is the proper learning of fundamental skills. Columbia Ice Rink’s Brandon LaDue Instructional Ice Hockey Program consists of one-hour sessions once a week for six to seven weeks.

Loaner equipment is provided free of charge to all participants while available. That equipment will be sanitized as necessary per CDC and state health department guidelines. The program was created to provide an inexpensive, fun, safe atmosphere for children ages 6 through 12 to learn the game of ice hockey.

Run by USA Hockey-trained instructors, this program was formed to provide a fun, safe atmosphere for players to master the game of ice hockey. This program will aid those looking to transition from roller hockey to ice hockey.

The High School Workout Instructional Hockey program is for skaters ages 13 and older. Full gear is required. You must provide your own gear. An intermediate skating ability (able to stop, turn, skate backwards) is required. No experience with pucks is necessary.
