Social Sports Leagues at CA!

Columbia Association’s Social Sports Leagues for adults (ages 18 and older) have something for everyone — the challenge of competition, a fun way to stay active, and a great place to meet new friends. 

You don’t need to have any experience. Just sign up and show up!

Highlights: 

  • Basketball: Eight-week regular season, plus two weeks of playoffs
  • Racquetball: Ten-week regular season, plus three weeks of playoffs
  • Available to CA members and Columbia Cardholders
  • Coed league
  • Participants receive a free team shirt
  • League play is followed by a social gathering at a local bar

  • Registration available now through August 30
  • Monday nights from 6-9pm at Supreme Sports Club, 7080 Deepage Drive. League play begins September 13
  • Thursday nights from 6-9pm at Columbia Gym, 6151 Day Long Ln. League play begins September 16

About the basketball leagues:

  • Games are coed and officiated.
  • Whether you’re looking to sign up as a free agent, team captain, or would like to join your friends’ team, we’ll make sure to accommodate your needs.
  • League dues are $80 for CA Fit&Play/1Fit members; $90 for all other CA members; and $105 for Columbia Cardholders.

  • C/D League Wednesday and Thursday from 6-9pm available at Supreme Sports Club, 7080 Deepage Drive or Columbia Athletic Club, 5435 Beaverkill Rd. League play begins September 15

Important Information:

  • A/B league for experienced players. A/B players have a high knowledge of racquetball rules. They have accurate serves, passes and killshots and can execute on most shots. They have an equal forehand and backhand stroke, or their backhand is starting to become more equal to their forehand.
  • C/D league for developing players. C/D players play frequently and are still developing their strengths. Their level of knowledge is improving. They lack playing experience and are learning the basics of safety, rules, forehand strokes, backhand strokes, and returns.
  • League dues are $45 for CA Fit&Play/1Fit members; $50 for all other CA members; and $60 for Columbia Cardholders.
