CAMP C.O.O.K. – Culinary Outreach Opportunities for Kids
Cooking is a great way to sharpen life skills and stir up creativity! It is also a great recipe for soaking up some knowledge from the basic cognitive subject areas. Enjoy the wonderful world of food. Please notify the staff of any dietary restrictions or food allergies.
Camp highlights:
- Instruction in food handling, proper sanitation, kitchen safety
- Practical techniques to produce recipes
- Meals easily reproduced at home
- Gain knowledge in use of appliances, healthy meal planning, portion control and etiquette
- Camp games, recreational swimming, and field trips

What to bring:
Campers must wear closed-toed shoes, and it is suggested that campers wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing and socks. A hat and sunscreen are recommended for outdoor activities. Campers should bring a swimsuit and towel; a healthy, nonperishable lunch;
and a refillable water bottle.
