Each month, Columbia Athletic Club hosts a seminar on health and wellness. Join us for the whole seminar or stop in for part of the time. Seminars are free and drop-in to everyone. Monday, January 20: Understanding and Living with Physical Pain
Led by Chelsie Paynter, doctor of physical therapy. Learn about physical pain and the issues people face living with chronic pain. Learn about “Pain Neuroscience Education,” which helps people process and reframe/understand physical pain.
Chelsie is a physical therapist at Pivot Physical Therapy. She has a passion for treating the whole patient, and she strives to consistently deliver personalized care to help others achieve goals of maximum function and independence. Chelsie enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic injuries across patients of all ages and received her doctorate of physical therapy from Des Moines University.
Join us prior to the seminar for the noon Joints in Motion class, which is drop-in and free for anyone attending the seminar!
