Welcome to Spring 2021! First, we want to thank you for golf having a great last year even with the pandemic.

Thank you for your flexibility and compliance with our protocols and policies we put in place to keep you and our team members safe. We are grateful for your continued support and hope to have COVID-19 and its protocols put to rest in the near future.

Here is some important information for golf season:

  • Tee times on the weekends mornings are coming soon. Lottery requests will be electronically accepted.
  • We now have an online system to put your lottery request in for weekends. All 7Day Golf and Golf Fit&Play members may use this system for weekend morning times. Requests will open Friday mornings and stay open until Sunday at 10pm.
  • Please be sure you have three or more players who are 7Day Golf or Golf Fit&Play members.
  • You will need to fill out a request form for Saturday and one for Sunday. Reminder that the request is for the following weekend.
  • Guest passes may not be used on Saturday or Sunday mornings.
  • Handicap fee is due now. Once payment has been received, we can reactivate your handicap. Anyone having difficulty accessing, please contact Joan.Lovelace@ColumbiaAssociation.org
  • ACE Cards are now available for purchase in the Pro Shop. The ACE Card includes your 2021 handicap fee (if applicable); Range Key worth $130; and $5 off of an 18-hole green or cart fee OR $2.50 off of a 9-hole green or cart fee. The price is $165 for 5Day and 7Day members and $180 for Daily and CA Fit&Play members.
  • If you have an ACE Card that you purchased in 2020, we will be extending the due date to June due to the pandemic and being closed for 8 weeks. Renewal in June 2021 for current card holders will be $130 and $145. All ACE Cards will then expire in March 2022.
  • Bag storage is on hold until we feel safer.
  • Locker renewals are due by March 30 and are $125 per locker.

And finally, we want to highlight Operation 36, a fun and engaging way to learn to play golf! This will start this spring at both Hobbit’s Glen and Fairway Hills. Coaches will provide beginner and advanced players with a roadmap to actual play on the course. Participants can download the Ops36 Mobile app, which has copies of all of the drills and practice programs-making practice between playing more meaningful and targeted.
