Whether you are new to the game or just looking for ways to improve, Hobbit’s Glen and Fairway Hills golf clubs offer a variety of different lesson programs, as well as private and group lessons. Our PGA- and LPGA-certified professionals are here to provide you with excellent instruction, tailored to meet your specific needs and abilities.

Want to practice on your own? The driving ranges at both clubs are open to the public! Range ball tokens can be purchased at both Hobbit’s Glen and Fairway Hills for $4/per token. Bucket size determines the number of tokens needed. Range ball keys are also available for purchasing in volume and are $75 for 24 tokens and $90 for 30 tokens.

Additionally, both clubs offer the new FlightScope® Launch Monitor to keep you on your game! The FlightScope Launch Monitor measures the speed, spin and distance of your shots – allowing you and your instructor to analyze and improve your swing. To learn more, please click here.

Let’s Tee it Up!

This is a great, on-the-course, golf learning experience that allows you and up to two of your golfing friends to play with your favorite pro as your fourth for two hours! During the round, your instructor will provide guidance on how to improve your scores in future rounds through insightful tips, course management and strategy.

Individual: $150

Two people: $100 per person

Three people: $75 per person

Price includes instruction, 9-hole green fee, carts and a warm-up bucket for each person.

Hobbit’s Glen Get Golf Ready!

If you’ve ever thought about picking up a club, either for the first time or returning after years, you can make golf your sport for a lifetime. The Get Golf Ready program is designed to teach you in five short lessons everything you’ll need to know to step onto a golf course and play with confidence.

Lessons include on-course activities guided by trained PGA Professionals who will insure your fun each step of the way! Get Golf Ready is a national program from Play Golf America to help grow the great game of golf to anyone and everyone! PGA and LPGA instructors are ready to show you everything you need to know with a relaxed fun atmosphere. Five one-hour classes include range balls, equipment for use during classes and instruction from PGA/LPGA professionals.

The prices (per five class session) are $110 for CA Members and $125 for nonmembers.

PGA Junior League

Hobbit’s Glen’s PGA Junior League Golf Team is for boys and girls, ages 9-13. Youth will love meeting friends and competing in this fun and engaging team format! Participants receive coaching from a PGA professional. The league welcomes players of all abilities.

Four-week preseason with a weekly practice and scrimmage followed by a weekly practice and four to six matches. Participants also receive a range card, jersey and bag tag. The price is $299 per person.

The evaluation date is Wednesday, May 10 at 5pm. Preseason starts the following week. Teams are selected after evaluation. Scrimmages and matches are held on Saturday afternoons. Practices are on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

High School Golf Team Clinics at Hobbit’s Glen

Registration: Open to all incoming freshmen-seniors who are trying out for the school golf team.

Fee: $150 registration fee (April-August) for all sessions. $70 registration fee (mid-June to August) for summer sessions. Fee includes clinic and small bucket of balls, plus the junior member rate for nine holes of $13 to be paid each week depending on availability.

4:30pm: Tee times begin: 9-hole Stableford play used for high school golf matches
