Columbia has more fun activities than any other community in Maryland, a place where you can swim, play golf, play tennis, go ice skating, go roller skating, and plenty of other things for kids and families and people of all ages to do.

There are 23 outdoor swimming pools, several indoor swimming pools (including the SplashDown water slides), plus swim lessons to learn how to swim and kids’ swim leagues for competitive swimmers.

One of the best golf courses in Maryland is here, not far from Baltimore or Washington, D.C., at Hobbit’s Glen Golf Club, an award-winning semi-private 18-hole golf course where you can play where the pros have played. Fairway Hills Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course that is affordable and fun, a great value where you don’t need to be a member to play. Both courses have public driving ranges and golf leagues and tournaments.

If you prefer putt-putt, check out our fun mini-golf course at Columbia SportsPark. While you’re there, take a swing at our baseball and softball batting cages, play arcade games, or go skateboarding at Columbia SkatePark.

That’s not the only place to skate. You can go roller skating or inline skating at Columbia Skate Arena, and you can ice skate, learn figure skating, take figure skating lessons, play hockey and more at Columbia Ice Rink.

Tennis is also a very popular sport here in Columbia, Maryland. We have 10 indoor tennis courts and 29 outdoor tennis courts, and our tennis programs include tennis leagues for kids and adults, tennis lessons for kids and adults, and our junior tennis development and competition programs. You can also play pickleball!

Columbia Association is proud to offer all of this and so much more — everything from summer fun to things to do in winter — all as part of its mission to make Columbia an even better place to live, work and, yes, play.
