Cardio Tennis is a fun group activity, featuring drills to give players of all abilities an ultimate high-energy workout. Cardio Tennis includes warm-up, cardio workout and cool-down phases. It is recommended to supplement your regular tennis routine and is a viable alternative to a cardio workout at a fitness clubs. If you want to find a great new way to get into shape and burn calories, try CA’s Cardio Tennis! Players are urged to use heart rate monitors in Cardio Tennis.
Benefits of Cardio Tennis:
- Consistently elevates heart rate into the aerobic training zone
- Burns more calories than playing singles or doubles tennis — up to 2,000 calories in one hour
- Varies short cycles of high-intensity workouts with periods of rest, similar to interval training
