Get actively involved in your community! Youth can join and be actively involved in an enrichment club. Designed to encourage youths to become active and contributing members of their community. The clubs also help develop relevant life skills, meet new and interesting people and promote self-esteem.

These free enrichment clubs are held at The Barn in Oakland Mills and are open to youth ages 9 to 18 years old – elementary, middle and high school students. Programs follow the HCPSS calendar year and are not offered on days that schools close early or are closed.

You must be a part of the drop-in program or completed the accompanied registration form to join.

Art Attack

Tuesday 4:30-6pm

Participants are taken to the Columbia Art Center in the Long Reach Village for the Art Attack program. Get engaged in 2 exciting hands-on art projects – ceramics and glass fusion with an Art Showcase at the end of the school year to spotlight their projects.

Cooking Club

Fridays 4:30-6pm

Participants will plan various meals/ food items they want to learn how to cook and culminates with an IRON CHEF Competition.

Leadership Through Hip Hop Dance

Mondays 4:30-6pm

Participants learn various dance moves and also learn how to choreograph and teach others.

Make a difference in your community! Join for a rewarding experience in creating and implementing service projects that benefit the community. Past projects have included a clothing drive and clothing distribution and essential items drive.

Participants will be responsible for planning activities on the drop-in monthly calendars and leading activities, engaging in community service.
