This is it — 2019 is going to be your year to tackle that fitness goal, no matter how big or small. Getting a head start in 2018 is a great way to make sure you achieve your goals.

Columbia Association is here to help turn your resolutions into reality, with a wide array of class options, plus personal training that can be tailored to your goals. These classes are appropriate for all fitness levels. Your instructor will guide you on scaling any movement to your abilities.

If you want to make a splash, try aqua fitness!

Aqua Barre — Tone, strengthen, lengthen and get a cardio workout by performing ballet and barre moves with added water resistance. Aqua Flex equipment, gliding discs, and weights may be used.

Aqua Fusion — Invigorate your body and calm your mind with this blend of Pilates, barre, and yoga. Strengthen your core and tone, followed by breathing and stretching.

Aqua Pilates — Using the water’s resistance, experience Pilates in the pool. Focus on core stability and muscle toning.

Aqua Spin — Aqua cycle on special hydrorider bikes in the water. Columbia Gym, Supreme Sports Club and Columbia Swim Center all offer aquatic classes (Columbia Athletic Club will also offer aqua classes when it reopens.) Learn more at ColumbiaAssociation.org/pools.

Aqua Fitness — Combines cardio, flexibility and muscle conditioning in shallow water. Offered at Columbia Gym, Columbia Swim Center and Supreme Sports Club.

Aqua Zumba® — All the fun of Zumba, the intensity of dance movements with the support and resistance of the water. Offered at Columbia Gym.

If you’re looking to dance the pounds away, try a cardio dance class!

It’s much easier to exercise when you’re not thinking about exercise — so distract yourself with CA’s fun cardio dance classes! Find a class soundtracked by your favorite style of music, which makes it a great way to get fit. Learn more at ColumbiaAssociation.org/groupfitness.

Cardio Dance and Tone — Combines cardio and strength training using weights, resistance bands, and/or toning sticks.

Cardio Tone — Mixes cardio, strength training and core work using weights, balls and/or resistance bands.

Zumba® — A fitness party workout that includes exciting and unique Latin rhythms and moves.

Zumba® Gold —  A modified, lower-impact beginning version of Zumba.

If you’re looking for a one-on-one experience, try personal training!

CA offers personal training options to fit your lifestyle, increase your energy and get the results you want, including private hour and half-hour sessions, semi-private sessions (2-3 people) and small group training classes, including Kettlebells, Fit Boxing and our new TRFlex program.

New clients and anyone who hasn’t purchased personal training in a year are eligible for a special rate: three sessions for $149. To learn more, schedule your free Fitness Consultation at the front desk or ask to speak with one of our fitness training supervisors.

In addition to personal training, CA has a team of nutrition professionals who can make a difference in anyone’s performance — whether that’s weight loss or working toward better health. Learn more at
