Individual and Group Lessons
CA’s instructional program helps you build a quality golf swing and an excellent short game. Because each person’s needs are different, private lessons offer individualized instruction with an emphasis on helping you find the best swing for you and/or correcting any problems.
One-on-one lessons are offered in 30- and 45-minute sessions, with discounts available for purchasing packages of lessons. Small group lessons are 60 minutes and are priced for groups of two, three, or four or more.
Let’s Tee It Up is a great on-the-course golf learning experience, allowing you and up to two of your friends to play with your favorite CA pro as your fourth for two hours. During the round, your instructor provides guidance on how to improve your score through insightful tips, course management and strategy.
Get Golf Ready
Get Golf Ready is a national program from Play Golf America to help grow the sport to anyone and everyone. PGA and LPGA instructors teach you in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. This program for new golfers is offered in two formats, each involving five one-hour classes. Range balls and equipment for use during class are included.
At Hobbit’s Glen, Get Golf Ready covers everything you’ll need to know to play with confidence. Lessons include on-course activities guided by pros. At Fairway Hills, meanwhile, Get Golf Ready takes the form of a progressive program with four different topics.
Intro to Golf tackles the basics — putting, pitching, and the full swing with woods and irons. Improving Your Short Game focuses on situations from 50 years and in, including putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play. Developing Your Full Swing will improve your fundamentals, including iron play and accuracy with the driver and fairway woods off the tee. Breaking “100” helps intermediate players feel more comfortable golfing on your own, delving into etiquette, basic rules, different tournament formats and course management.
Red Zone Challenge
One of the biggest keys to low scores is being able to get the ball in the hole quickly from inside 100 yards — the Red Zone. This program focuses on improving your putting, chipping, pitching and bunker skills so that you score better on the course. Red Zone Challenge includes five one-hour classes. All sessions held at Hobbit’s Glen.
Leagues for Learning
CA’s Schamble Class includes 30 minutes of instruction, followed by two hours on the course with an instructor playing a scramble format. This league is designed for graduates of Get Golf Ready who would like more instruction while actually being on the course. Each session includes five classes. All sessions held at Fairway Hills.
The Green League is for graduates of Get Golf Ready who would like to take their new golf skills on the course with other novice golfers. Each session includes six classes. All sessions held at Fairway Hills.
