Core Conditioning

Understanding and developing how the core works will help you improve posture, prevent injuries and better prepare you for cardiovascular and strength workouts, as well as your activities of daily living.

Only have 30 minutes? Then Express Training is for you! Now available at all three fitness clubs. Columbia Cardholders and non-members are also welcome. Get pricing, select a personal trainer or inquire about our personal training program.

What is WINN (When If Not Now)?

WINN is a program for those 50 and older that provides special coaching, information, personal attention, physical exercise and fun. WINN will introduce you to a way of life so invigorating, you’ll wonder how you ever lived any other way.

What does WINN include?

With WINN, you receive six 30-minute sessions (five one-on-one fitness sessions and one nutrition session) and unlimited use of all CA Fit&Play amenities, including all group fitness classes.

Four questions to determine if WINN is for you:

  1. Are you an adult aged 50 or older?
  2. Would you like to have more energy to complete daily activities?
  3. Have you ever stopped an exercise program due to lack of motivation?
  4. Would you like guidance on designing an exercise program and instruction on following it?

Suitable for youth members 11 years of age and older — up to 90 minutes

Groups of up to four youths and parent, per consultation

Schedule to meet with one of CA’s certified personal trainers, who will design a basic fitness routine for your child that includes a proper warmup and cooldown, cardiovascular exercise and strength training.  Workouts will be explained to youth members so they are comfortable and feel safe at the gym while parents actively supervise. Facility policies and gym etiquette will be communicated.  Although youth members will be encouraged to use all areas of the gym floor, the free weight areas and participation in group exercise programming are restricted until child is 14 years of age.
