Burn up to 1000 calories per class! Fit Boxing features high intensity cardio with boxing techniques and dumbbell resistance incorporating calisthenics and plyometric exercises. Increase your energy, boost your metabolism and burn calories while having fun!

Classes are open to both CA members and non-members. Everyone gets their first class for free! Classes are held at Columbia Gym in 8-week sessions, however a prorate is available for those would like to start in the middle of a session. Drop-ins are also welcome on a space available basis.

Have fun while getting strong and fit with CA’s Kettlebell classes at Columbia Gym! Using cast-iron weights, you’ll perform exercises that combine cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. Build strength and endurance, particularly in the lower back, legs and shoulders, and increase grip strength.

The perfect mix of cardio and strength, TRFlex is CA’s new functional training program – designed to give you the complete fitness program you need. Centered around our suspension trainers, TRFlex delivers the best elements of high-intensity (H.I.I.T.) and resistance training through its three main sessions: TRX Strong, TRX Sweat and Total TRX along with our foundational sessions TRX Basics and TRX Gold. Each session is 50 minutes.

Descriptions

TRX Basics: TRX Basics is an instructional session aimed at establishing the fundamentals of TRX Suspension Training. The workout focuses on the entire body through an emphasis on strength, mobility and endurance.

TRX Gold: Our continuous fitness program designed for the actively aging. This session delivers targeted full-body workouts to improve your balance, flexibility and mobility as you battle the effects of time. Utilizing the TRX Suspension Trainer, TRX Gold provides a great low-impact workout while improving your quality of life.

TRX Strong: Strength, power and control are the pillars of TRX Strong. This total body workout will challenge you while improving your core stability and body control.

TRX Sweat: Are you looking for that H.I.I.T full-body workout to add to your fitness routine? Try TRX Sweat! This cardio-based H.I.I.T program is guaranteed to push you to your limits and make you sweat! This is great for enthusiasts of all fitness and experience levels.

Total TRX: CA’s most complete suspension program! This full-body workout is guaranteed to deliver a fun, high-energy experience, blending the strength of TRX Strong and the endurance of TRX Sweat.

What is WINN (When If Not Now)?

WINN is a program for those 50 and older that provides special coaching, information, personal attention, physical exercise and fun. WINN will introduce you to a way of life so invigorating, you’ll wonder how you ever lived any other way.

What does WINN include?

With WINN, you receive six 30-minute sessions (five one-on-one fitness sessions and one nutrition session) and unlimited use of all CA Fit&Play amenities, including all group fitness classes.

Four questions to determine if WINN is for you:

  1. Are you an adult aged 50 or older?
  2. Would you like to have more energy to complete daily activities?
  3. Have you ever stopped an exercise program due to lack of motivation?
  4. Would you like guidance on designing an exercise program and instruction on following it?

Suitable for youth members 11 years of age and older — up to 90 minutes

Groups of up to four youths and parent, per consultation

Schedule to meet with one of CA’s certified personal trainers, who will design a basic fitness routine for your child that includes a proper warmup and cooldown, cardiovascular exercise and strength training.  Workouts will be explained to youth members so they are comfortable and feel safe at the gym while parents actively supervise. Facility policies and gym etiquette will be communicated.  Although youth members will be encouraged to use all areas of the gym floor, the free weight areas and participation in group exercise programming are restricted until child is 14 years of age.
