Columbia Association is seeking a qualified, full-time candidate for the Contract and Construction Accounting Administrator position to work in the Open Space and Facility Services Department and the Construction Management Division.

This position will be responsible for the implementation and administration of Construction Management Division contracts and accounting, to include service and quality monitoring, coordinating changes in contract terms, tracking contract payments, and related administrative activities. The Contract and Construction Accounting Administrator will coordinate the day-to-day application and enforcement of contract terms and conditions. They will manage and oversee the duties and functions of the Assistant Contract Administrator. They will also be coordinating and overseeing several accounting reporting requirements and auditing functions for the Open Space and Facility Services Department.

The qualified candidate should have:
1. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or related subject.
2. Four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in the preparation and/or monitoring of contracts.
3. Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) or Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) or comparable certification is highly desired.
4. Minimum four years of experience formulating and preparing Requests for Proposal for Professional Services and Invitations for Bid for construction and capital improvement contracts.
5. Supervisory experience.
