We’re looking for a talented graphic designer with a passion for producing work that not only is visually striking but also propels our audience into action, encouraging people to take advantage of the many great programs and services offered by Columbia Association (CA).
The Digital Graphic Designer is a part-time position that plays a strategic role, helping lead and shape our growth in digital advertising and messaging. Be a part of a highly collaborative and fun Communications and Marketing team, one that supports the work of an organization whose recreational, cultural and environmental services have helped Columbia, Maryland be recognized as one of the best places to live in the United States. If that alone doesn’t pique your interest, then wait until you learn about our incredible benefits such as free memberships to our fitness clubs and facilities (yes, even for part-time employees!).
CA’s work supports everything from sport and fitness (pools, gyms, tennis, golf, a mind body wellness center) to community services (an art center, camps and other children’s programming), so this job offers plenty of variety and challenges to keep you on your toes.
This position serves as one of CA’s brand ambassadors, requiring an ability to create compelling visuals and stories, designing with personality, producing concepts that are fun, approachable and direct and aligns with CA’s brand, tone and voice.
The Digital Graphic Designer creates content for the purpose of engagement and conversion, helping CA achieve its membership sales goals and retain its current customer base, as well as interacting with current CA members and the community of Columbia and Greater Howard County.
