  • Wednesday, March 1: Nomination period opens. Petitions are available on the Kings Contrivance village website and at Amherst House (during normal business hours).
  • Thursday, March 21: Completed nomination petitions due to kings@villageofkc.org or Amherst House by 5pm.
  • Monday, March 25: 150-word candidate statements due to kings@villageofkc.org or Amherst House by 5pm.
  • Friday, April 19 & Saturday, April 20: Election day!

Vote

[Updated 4/22/24] This year’s Kings Contrivance election was uncontested, and thanks to your participation, the quorum was reached to validate the election. The following candidates are deemed elected to two-year terms.

Candidates:

  • Melissa Hogle*
  • Madeleine Borowski*
  • Vivian Feen*
  • Fred Niziol*

Who can vote:

  • All residents over the age of 18 are eligible to vote in Kings Contrivance.

How to vote:

  • You can vote in-person or via absentee ballot.

Save the date:

  • Thursday, April 4: Absentee ballots are made available. Ballots will be part of the Crown Prints newsletter mailed directly to homes in early April and are also available at Amherst House.
  • Thursday, April 18: Absentee ballots due by 5pm at Amherst House. Ballots mailed or dropped off in the mailbox outside of Amherst House.
  • Friday, April 19: Election day! In-person voting is open from 5-7pm at Amherst House.
  • Saturday, April 20: Election day! In-person voting is open from 9am-1pm at Amherst House. KC Cares is also hosting an environmental Family Fest from 10am to noon.
