Boys’ Lacrosse/Speed and Agility Camp
Instruction provided by Skip Darden, a four-time DIII national champion player and high school coach. Darden will be joined by a staff of Division I, players and world team lacrosse players. Instruction is provided in basic offensive and defensive techniques to improve lacrosse skills and players’ lacrosse IQ. The day begins with proper stretching, dynamic warm-ups and stick drills. General instructions on the appropriate application of skills as well as position specific application of game situational play. Tuesdays and Thursdays will include a one-hour speed and agility session for each camper. Wednesday will include pool time, weather permitting. Pads, protective gear and helmets are required; a stick will be provided for those who need them. Each camper is provided with one mouth guard, additional mouth guards can be purchased at the camp for a small fee. Campers should bring a filled water bottle daily. What to bring
Campers must wear closed-toed shoes, and it is suggested campers wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing and socks. A hat and sunscreen are recommended for outdoor activities. Campers should bring a swimsuit and towel, a healthy, non-perishable lunch and a refillable water bottle.
